July 22, 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lake Elmo City Council voted unanimously on Tuesday (July 20) to establish a city library, effectively opting out of the county system that was going to close it. Now the hard work begins of the organizing and negotiating with the county to still retain some of the services. The vote came at 11:00 pm and we all broke out in applause.
