This morning I took a walk<\/p>\n

Faithful friend at the ready.<\/p>\n

It was a walk this day unlike any.<\/p>\n

On a frosty morning I left<\/p>\n

And arrived at his side,<\/p>\n

We talked as we walked<\/p>\n

And moved stride by stride.<\/p>\n

He said are you ready?<\/p>\n

I said yes I am!<\/p>\n

My old friend doesn\u2019t understand<\/p>\n

But you do and so do I.<\/p>\n

I have been given riches<\/p>\n

Beyond silver and gold<\/p>\n

I have shared love,<\/p>\n

Family, friends and blessings untold.<\/p>\n

My smile is still with you<\/p>\n

It\u2019s in your heart that I know<\/p>\n

So walk with me often<\/p>\n

I am ready to go.<\/p>\n

I returned not thru my door<\/p>\n

But followed his warmth<\/p>\n

To his heavenly light.<\/p>\n

A place of peace<\/p>\n

A place oh, so bright.<\/p>\n

Think of me fondly,<\/p>\n

And pray for us all.<\/p>\n

But do not worry<\/p>\n

Do not be sad<\/p>\n

Safe in his arms<\/p>\n

I am truly all right!<\/p>\n
