Bob’s new airplane, January 18, 2011

Bob, always perusing Barnstormers for airplanes for sale, spotted this 1946 Taylorcraft for sale in New Richmond, just over the border in Wisconsin. The guy said it was a “10” in a scale of 1 – 10 and was a motivated seller. Bob will leave it there for a little while then put it in his hanger at Lake Elmo. He said, “I guess I’m not really ready for the rocking chair yet.”

Bob is as successful at saying no to airplanes as I am to fabulous shoes at WINGS resale 🙂

A great looking machine, very stylish! I have been told many times, “you need a project vehicle and a nice vehicle to use while you’re working on the project.” I’m very jealous of the new, very nice, vehicle.

Bob says, “Yeh, exactly. You need a ride and you need a project.”
